Who will become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world?
Tyson Fury has confirmed that he is willing to come out of retirement to face Oleksandr Usyk after the Ukrainian beat Anthony Joshua on Saturday night.
Usyk was in fine form once again as he excelled in Saudi Arabia, Joshua put up a better fight this time round but he was unable to topple the crafty Ukrainian.
Moments after the fight ended, the WBC title holder Fury said on his Instagram: “After watching that, the both of them were s****.
“It was one of the worst heavyweight title fights I’ve ever seen.
“It was bull****, come on! I’d annihilate both of them on the same night. F***ing s****.”

This sparked rumours that despite announcing his retirement earlier on this month, Fury may not be done yet and the chance to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world could be too big and too lucrative to turn down.
On Sunday morning, it seems that Fury is willing to come out of retirement and make a sensational return to the ring.

He said in a video: “I’ve just seen Joshua lose for the second time to Usyk, [he was] out of his depth. England has been relieved of its belts but there is a remedy and solution that I can suggest.
“If you want those belts back then send in the Gyspy barbarian; send me in and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of his belts like I did the last Ukrainian dosser.
“But it’s not going to be cheap, if you want the best you have to pay. It’s going to be very expensive; so get your chequebook out and I will relieve the Ukrainian dosser of the belts.”

In the summer of last year, it looked like Fury was going to fight for all four belts after terms were agreed with then holder of the IBF, WBA and WBO titles Joshua. However, the Gypsy King was then ordered to fight American Deontay Wilder for a third time.
According to reports, Fury is now set to inform the WBC of his desire to retain his belt, sparking a possibility of a showdown in the Middle East in December.
Both Fury and Usyk will be hoping to be the first undisputed heavyweight world champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
After his win against Joshua, Usyk was asked whether Fury will fight him.
Oleksandr Usyk: 🗣 “I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired. I’m convinced he wants to fight me, I wanna fight him.”
He replied: “I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet, I’m convinced he wants to fight me, I want to fight him and if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury I’m not fighting. Only God knows whether I will or not.”
Fury’s last fight was in April 2022, when he comfortably dispatched Dillian Whyte at Wembley. Will we see Fury vs Usyk this year? Only time will tell.
