“Let’s get ready to have some fun y’all,” Baldwin wrote after his daughter Hailey announced she was pregnant with her first child

Stephen Baldwin is an excited grandfather-to-be!

On Thursday, May 9, Justin Bieber, 30 and his wife Hailey Bieber (né Baldwin), 27, revealed they were expecting their first baby in a sweet joint Instagram post.

The couple posted a video of their vow renewal with the announcement, showing Hailey wearing a dreamy Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello white lace dress and lace headpiece that doubled as a veil.

Sharing a grab of the couple kissing from the announcement clip with a Bible verse written over it on his Instagram later on May 9, Hailey’s dad Baldwin, 57, shared his delight in the caption.

“Love you guys ❤️ blessed beyond words🙏🏼 praise God 👶🏼let’s get ready to have some fun y’all 🎉,” he wrote.

Justin’s mom Pattie Mallette, 49, was among those commenting on Stephen’s post, writing, “Congratulations Grandpa! WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE CUTEST GRAND-BABIES EVER!”

After fans asked whether her use of the word “grand-babies” meant the couple was expecting twins, Mallette quickly clarified her comment. “No not twins lol I wish. I just mean in general. Hopefully they will have more than one eventually. They will make beautiful babies whenever they have them. One is enough for now 😂,” Pattie wrote in a second message on Baldwin’s post.

Justin and Hailey married in a secret New York City courthouse ceremony on Sept. 13, 2018 before they exchanged vows in front of 154 guests in South Carolina on Sept. 30, 2019.

After their baby news was revealed on social media on May 9, a rep for Hailey confirmed to PEOPLE that the Rhode founder is just over six months pregnant.

Meanwhile, Hailey’s uncle, Billy Baldwin, 61, shared his excitement at the news while speaking to PEOPLE at the Americans With No Address VIP Screening at the Cinemark Baldwin Hills Crenshaw in Los Angeles after the announcement.

“I really feel like there’s no higher calling than that responsibility,” he said.

It seems like the Biebers even managed to keep the pregnancy news a secret from some family members, as Billy told PEOPLE, “I just found out a couple of hours ago.”

“My niece and nephew [were asking], ‘Have you talked to Stephen [Baldwin] yet? Been able’ — No, I haven’t. I just texted him,” he said, adding, “But this will be his second [grandchild] and I’m excited.”

“I think they’re an adorable couple. Hailey comes from a great family with my brother Stephen and his wife Kennya and her older sister Alaia, who’s married with her own grandchild,” Billy continued of their large family.
