Where Is Lindsay Lohan’s Twin?

Feature Watch What Happens Live Lindsay Lohan Lindsay Lohan Had the Best Response When a Disney Exec Asked Where Her Twin Was At The Parent Trap Premiere: Lindsay Lohan was quick on her feet when she was asked about the whereabouts of her “twin” at the premiere for her 1998 film, The Parent Trap.
“Is it true that a Disney executive asked you at the premiere of that movie if your sister was there?” Andy Cohen asked during the Wednesday, November 20, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, to which Lohan, 38, replied, “Yes. Michael Eisner.”

“[He said], ‘Where’s your twin?’ I was so young I don’t even know how I thought to say this, but I’ll never forget what I said,” Lohan continued. “I said, ‘Well you should have paid me double because I don’t have one.’”

After receiving applause from the audience, Cohen, 56, quipped, “This is the daughter of Dina Lohan. Very good.”

Lohan famously played identical twins Annie James and Hallie Parker in the reboot of 1961’s The Parent Trap. The film followed the sisters who were separated at birth and later reunited while attending the same summer camp before their 12th birthday.

In the years following the movie’s premiere, fans have been hoping for a reboot or reunion — and Lohan revealed on Wednesday that she’s not opposed. When asked whether she would consider playing Annie and Hallie’s mom in a reboot, Lohan replied, “I mean, if Nancy Meyers was a part of that, yeah. I would never say no to Nancy.”

While the movie premiered 26 years ago, Lohan has continued to gush about her time on set. “There [were] such lovely and beautifully written moments, funny but just heart-wrenching because it’s like, missing that person in your life and then finally having that person,” Lohan told Katie Couric during a virtual cast reunion in July 2020. “You forget … how much you miss people until you’re actually with them and you haven’t seen them in a while. And I think those scenes really tear me up.”

She continued: “Once the long hair was on, it felt very different for me. And I feel like — I don’t know if this goes for all actors — but once you put a wig on someone, you feel different. You’re stepping out of your comfort zone and you kind of become the other character. I feel like almost people treated me differently when I was Annie, ‘cause Annie was so much nicer and Hallie was kind of like me.”
