‘The Gypsy King’ suffered the first professional defeat of his career to the Oleksandr Usyk, losing via a split-decision verdict from the judges at ringside.

The British heavyweight was defeated in his bid to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.

But on December 21 he gets a crack at Usyk once again in a bid for revenge.

In a recent interview Fury has admitted how he now boxes for purely financial reasons and that it used to be about legacy, but now he’s all about the money.

When discussing this transition of priorities and how his mindset looks today, he explained: “Andy Lee never had £200 million in his bank to make him happy, did he? So what is my goal, and what is my target?”

“It’s not a belt. It’s not a legacy. It’s not a boxing fight. It’s to make as much money as possible.”

On his future he suggested he may continue boxing well into the years ahead.

He continued: “I’ve got to have as many fights as I can until the wheels fall off this b****, until I’m 50 years old and until I’m crippled with a stick walking down the street.”

“When I’m in a fight, I’ll die in that motherf****** ring, I don’t care! But before that fight, if the business doesn’t make sense, I’m not interested.”
