Justin Bieber shares cryptic message following ex Selena Gomez’s engagement news
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been getting plenty of nice messages from their celebrity pals since announcing their engagement and it seems Justin Bieber has responded
Justin Bieber fans are convinced he sent a “secret message” to his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez following her engagement news.
The Only Murders in the Building star, 32, announced her engagement on Instagram last week as she shared several snaps of her new diamond ring. Just days later, Justin shared a picture of his wife Hailey Bieber kissing the side of his face.
The 30-year-old included Lizzy McAlpine’s song All My Ghosts alongside the post and fans have been intrigued by the choice. All My Ghosts focuses on precious memories with a former partner which the singer can’t seem to get rid of.
Some of the lyrics include, “I can see it now, the wedding of the year / I can see it now, he stands up there and wipes his tears / I can see it now, when all my ghosts disappear / I can see it crystal clear.”

After spotting the song choice, fans became convinced Justin was trying to reach out to Selena. “But why that song,” one person questioned.
Another speculated, “He’s like dam I got married had a kid but her engagement hurt like a stab in the heart. That’s crazy it’s all in his eyes,” while a third person commented, “I don’t know if Justin is for real or joking at this point.”
The speculation comes amid reports Justin hopes Selena is “happy” following her engagement to Benny. While he hasn’t congratulated her publicly, a source told the Daily Mail, “Justin is married and has a kid. We all know that, but when he heard that Selena was engaged, he’ll even admit it stung for a brief second. Because even though they will never be friends or date again or anything like that, it is officially the end of an era.”
Selena and Justin had an on-and-off romance from 2010 until 2018. Shortly after their split, Justin moved on with Hailey and the pair tied the knot in September of that year.
Benny and Selena have been dating since June 2023, but didn’t confirm their romance until December of that year. Benny popped the question during a romantic picnic, with the songwriter previously opening up about his relationship.
“When I look at her … I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,” he gushed during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
