Angelina Jolie claims that she and her kids were traumatized by Brad Pitt after their infamous fight on a private jet in 2016.
“The events of that day were traumatic to Jolie and the children,” the actress’ lawyers argued in court documents obtained by Page Six on Tuesday.
The filing continued, “To this day, they have all been unable to return to Chateau Miraval due to its association with these traumatic events, including the children who are now legal adults.”

The exes — who wed in 2016 — share six children: Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, Vivienne, 14, and Knox, 14.
Additionally, the “Maleficent” actress claimed Pitt got violent with one of their kids, as well as her.
The “Fight Club” star, 58, allegedly “choked one of the children and struck another in the face,” as well as “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her,” the filing states. “At one point, he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children.”

Jolie claims that she attempted to stop Pitt but not without him injuring her and throwing hands.
“To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow,” the documents claim.
“The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop.”

The alleged dispute caused Jolie to file for divorce from Pitt just days later and they have since been embroiled in a nasty custody battle. While their divorce has yet to be finalized, they were both legally declared single in 2019.
That year, the FBI was investigating Pitt for alleged child abuse for the incident. However, authorities did not pursue criminal charges against the actor.
Pitt admitted to yelling at his kids during the incident but has maintained that he never got physical.
