Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois could meet again in 2025.

Joshua, the 2012 Olympic gold medallist failed in his bid to become a three-time heavyweight world champion when he was dominated by Dubois in a one-sided contest last month.

He was coming into the fight on a four fight win streak including his brutal knockout of MMA star Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou reflecting on AJ’s defeat says he wasn’t surprised with the outcome of the fight.

“If you know the sport you know that everything can happen in the heavyweight division. So, I wasn’t surprised,” said Ngannou when speaking to Sky Sports .

“I didn’t expect that outcome, but still wasn’t surprised. Everybody knows that Dubois has the knockout power.

On a prediction for the rematch the former UFC heavyweight champion decided to sit on the fence.

He said: “I don’t know. It could be the same way. Nobody knows. It can go either way.”
