This policy explains in plain English what NewsToday123 does with information. The short version: we do not run accounts, and we collect very little.
What is stored in your browser only
Some features save small pieces of information in your own browser, on your own device. We do not receive this information.
- Saved stories. If you save stories to read later, the list is kept in your browser's local storage.
- Theme. If you choose a light or dark display, that choice is remembered in your browser.
- Newsletter sign-up form. The email address typed into the newsletter form on this site is a demonstration. Until a real mailing list is connected, it stays on your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. When a real list is connected, we will update this policy first and tell you what changes.
You can clear this information at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings.
No accounts
You do not need to create an account to read NewsToday123, and we do not ask for a name, password or payment information.
Cookies and analytics
By default, we do not set tracking cookies and we do not run analytics. If that changes, we will update this page before it does and explain what is collected and why.
Third-party fonts and content delivery
This site may load fonts, icons or code libraries from third-party content delivery networks. When your browser requests those files, the provider can see technical information such as your IP address and browser type, as it can for any web request. We do not control how those providers handle that information.
Email you send us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply, to look into what you reported and to keep a record of correspondence. We do not sell it. Please avoid sending sensitive personal details by ordinary email.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, such as the right to ask what we hold, to correct it, to ask for it to be deleted or to object to how it is used. Because we hold little, a request is usually simple. Write to us and we will respond as best we can.
Children
NewsToday123 is a general news site and is not directed at young children. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page.
